The German cops may be a bit strict on any Macklin fans in Cologne because of this


A group of Irish Travellers have been accused of going on a drunken rampage in Germany. Seven of whom were referred to in the populist newspaper Bild as “Irish nomads” and “tinkers” have been arrested in Cologne after a weekend fair. Bild reported that 400 “so-called tinkers” – “whose women looked like they were in a musical troupe” – pitched up at the city in 160 caravans and “luxury cars”. The newspaper recounts that the “crazy Irish people” were “drinking, beating” their way through the city, and leaving restaurants without paying for their food, snorting drugs in full view of patrons of an Irish pub – and leaving “dirty nappies behind them on tables”.

Bunema! :yikes Holy ****sauce. This isn't a stay busy fight nor is it a guaranteed win for Lee. I'm truly shocked. How did they manage to get him to fight on a show that will generate **** all money?

Delighted with this news. Andy will learn more from this fight than his previous 4 before McEwan.

McEwan > Bunema > Vera, that's great preparation for someone chasing a world title. If he's not ready for a world title after those guys, he never will be. WAR LEE!

 

Bunema hasnt fought for three years htough. Thats the only thing i see wrong witht hos matchup. If Bunema was more active, it would be a great win for Andy no doubt. As it stands I still think its a decent matchup, but it would be a closer one if Bunema had a couple of warm up fights.

 

Pajo Hyland is fighting on the Barker undercard against a French lad. Could be a tough fight for him. Hopefully he wins and kicks on from there, it's time to **** or get off the pot for him.

 

Not really anything to do with Irish boxing but Im buzzing in anticipation of Smith-Simpson tonight. First time in a while a sky card has me like this. Im thinking Smith will winmore decisively than first time around. Lindsay should be due a shot at the winner, should be lining up another fight in the meantime though

the fight is even better when you consider Golovkin, who is supposed to be the guy thats gonna clean out 160 is fighting Kassim Ouma for GGGs strap. Ouma is, I think coming off a loss to Vanes at 154 and has had a pretty similar career to Bunema. Also Bunemas better than the guy maciel that pirog beat last month aswell. By the way i do tink the golovkin is the best at 160 besides martinez.

 

Call me bat**** crazy but I think Golovkin would beat Martinez.

 

Its great that spikes finally coming back to the ring.
