Dats an awful shame. He seems to really have hit top form this year, the euros wuda been great preparation for the olympic qualifiers. Moylette may seem the easy choice but if you look back at some of Hickey's earlier fights in the seniors he was run close a few times. He only beat Stephen Carroll by 2 points and Niall Murray by 3. Saying that, if they choose it by experience/ranking then Moylette will surely get it. Do u reckon u cud strip 11kgs off urself?

Don't forget Hickey won bronze at the Euros a few years back at lightweight. That sort of decision seems like madness and very short sighted, a potential olympian in their ranks.

Eanie Meanie.... late stoppage or points win i reckon (hope)
Fair play to him for taking this lad in this particular fight though and from the interviews he sounds confident.

If thats the type of opponents they are getting in illdef head along. The english lads at least come to fight and dont fall down after a decent jab or body blow.People are getting very sick of that i guess you get whet you pay for.

I dont mind the likes on Clark, Kristian Laight and Johnny Greaves but their records are shocking and if u are a casual fan and didn't realise that they are actually pretty good then they might turn their nose up at it.

Personally a can't stand the Latvians whose only wins are againts debutant in Latvia - which in reality is a gym spar against some kid dragged off the street and given 50e to sign a piece of paper a take a hammering.

What kind of money do these guys earn?

I assume the likes of Sid Razak makes a good bit more than some of the East European guys with 100 losses inside the first 3 rounds..?
