Yeah I seen that bout fra, exciting action.Darren O'Neil's a great stylist, I agree that O'Neil could win a medal at these championships.

Ya that was a great fight, O'Neil started well in the first two rounds but once Sutherland got going and started landing big power shots O'Neil started to fade and Sutherland won it wide enough in the end. Great fight for an amateur contest though.

O'Neil is definitely in with a shout for the Europeans. Is he fighting at Middleweight or Light-Heavyweight ?

I see the Breafy House hotel castlebar is advertising that Brenard Dunne is definetly fighting there on November 15th.It also says Henry Coyle will be on the bill.
I heard Peters was not happy the stadium didnt sell out the last time and is going to mayo where he assumes the breaffy house will sell out
with locals like Coyle,Sweeny,Cresham and Waldron on the card.

I think it held 1500 the last time but there was talk of it going to 2 thousand this time.Coyle sure is exciting 9 fights and none of them gone the distance.

Cheers puca, its sad that Dunne cant fill the stadium anymore, its an example of how fickle the so-called Irish boxing fans are. Most of the eejits who went along to the Point were not real boxing fans anyhow. Outside of Dunne, most of them would have known nothing about of any the rest of the boxers performing that night.Any news of Lee:huh
