    69 kg analysis
6 euro guys have qualified, leaving two places, tight.
    My ratings;
    1-Shellestyuk-uk-Q-class
    2-Basckai-Hun-not qualified but class, slipping?
    3-Vasinne-Fr-Q
4-Evans-GB-Q-Good consistant guy in Willy Mac, jjj level
    5-Evaliauskos-Lit_Q-bt Sheehan Worlds
    6-Spilal=Tur-danger
    7-Zamkovoy-Russia-Q-not there best
8-Nurutdivov-Blr-Not qualified but seriously good boxer.
9-Nolan-Irl-anyone tops JJJ, Sheehan, McLaughlin is class.
10-Kuroglu-Tur-Class fighter, Turkey have a decision to make!
    11-Kvachatadze-Geo-Geo-Not Quallfied, a good fighter.
12-Maharramov-Axe-Weak for them but a danger.

A tough one . Basckai to qualify , then Nolan or the Turhish pick.

PS Ormond won, good performance, fairly close, maybe two/three rounds, ref was clearly biased, well done and (ironically) hard Luck!

Nolan could well qualify. Please god anyway Matt. I don't know his international record as he missed last years Euros. Do you have any idea how well he did against other countries? Great analysis as always by the way :good

Very little international pedigree but if you can win over McLaughlin, O'Reilly, Sheehan, JJJ etc you have class. Years ago we had a really good fighter Michael O'Malley, won like six tough Connaught titles but kept meeting DOJ or JJJ, they kept splitting the weights, so Mike went down a weight(or two-starved-and lost to.....Adam Nolan!By the way a couple of years ago, both Nolan and O'Malley won world police titles-good mates!

Interesting about that lad. Did he give up boxing altogether? I remember DOJ and JJJ would always be the weight next to each other. One man seemed to have the beatings of both though - JP McDonagh who passed away a few months back. If he stayed on course who knows what he could have done. Have a read off this article here Matt : http://www.waterford-news.ie/news/kfeygbaucw/

Lol. Some of the comments coming in from Limerick are more entertaining than the undercard, tbh. Anxious to see how Lee looks. It says that a Chavez fight is "tentatively scheduled for June 2" on the site.
