I'm not saying he's finished or that he should stop or anything like that. But lets face it, this was the first lad who wasn't completely handpicked. It was over 4 rounds against a guy with a very average record and no track record of power punching and he got comprhensively beaten. What I'm saying is he needs to rethink his plan for the future. He's not half as good as he thinks he is. He needs to get over that fact and start working on making himself a better boxer.
I know the lad a little bit, he's a mouthpiece with a huge ego. He's way too into himself. He reckons he's impossible to hit as well. I've seen him 3 times in recent months and he's average at best. The one thing he has going for him is his willingness to stay active but until he grows up a bit he won't be making any serious inroads

Yeah, I know what you mean, the three Hyland boys along with there Da can be a bit on the cocky side. But that does not take away from the fact that they are a talented group of lads. Also they are not going to make the progress they did to succeed in this game by training solely with there aul man. All the same, good luck to them, they have some hard thinking to do.:deal

I like Osin ***in. There's a reason most of his losses are controversial!:think I'd like to see Paul McCloskey fight. He has only 7 KOs in 17 fights but all 17 were victories:boxx

mccloskey is at the stage now....were he is busting out of his skin 4 a big fight...hopefully 4 the european belt...but his promoter peters is struggling 2 to find such fights...mccloskey might have 2 take on a name fighter in the US...thats an option anyway
also ***an is due 2 fight in Ireland soon...against undefeated andrew murray 4 the irish lightweight title...that will b some scrap:good

That's very good news about Perez, a big step up in quality from what he's been fighting.

No one before has beaten Couser with as few fights as Perez.
Couser has wins over Jorge Luis Gonzalez, Dale Crowe, James 'Quick' Tillis and future David Haye opponent Monte Barrett.

A stoppage win would be impressive because the 9 men to stop Couser are all somebodys(Rob Calloway is the worst). However when Couser is stopped it's normally early.

Hopefully some of the other guys on the card can get similar quality match ups(or better).

i think peters is grooming murray 4 stardom...so he must b confident of a murray win...but its a real 50-50 fight...so it wouldnt surprise me 2 c ***an pull it off:good

Ive seen the spadafora fight the commentators were completely biased aswell as the 2 of the judges.

And the tapes of the kimbrough fight went missing........

hes not the best boxer in the world but hes got a hell of a heart.

The fight will be a real test for murray.

Good luck to neil, i think he has a good chance of winning this. If he wins this he might be able to get a brittish title shot or set up a clash with john o' donnell.
