was anybody else expecting a bit more quality from the prizefighter middleweights??, couple good scraps but bit disapointing overall, although saying that hopefully a few good matches can be made off the back of it was impressed with rea be good to see him get a crack at fitzy

Yeah some of the matches either lacked quality or the styles didn't gel.

But I was nearly furjizziling in my Y-fronts watching Fitz-Kane.

All the scraps were going to disappoint after that.

Unfortunately i believe that was down to atmosphere and expectancy, have watched it since and it wasnt any where near as good as i thought,Fitz didnt land one good shot that wasnt to the back of okanes head,Eamon for his part was swinging like a amateur novice,I was really expecting more from both (well maybe not Fitz he did his thing heads, elbows and rabbit punches)
Still think O Kane took all three rounds on shots landed but def wouldnt rush to see these lads fight again......that said it was the best fight of the prizefihter:-:)-(

I was very impressed with Rea in his win over O'Donnell, but was equally disappointed in his semi-final showing. To me he looked like a guy who was just happy with one win on the night. Looked like he didn't even want to beat mcdonagh at times. I was expecting a bit more from him, considering the rumours going around last week!

Dudey not happy with David Kelly's article in today's Bel Tel. Anyone read or know the gist of what was said?

Maybe more respect should be given to Fitzgelald. He made prizefighter and it went doen after that. If we choose to knock his boxing skill what about his fighting spirit.

I haven't read it either but I'm sure like everyone else there, he was disappointed in Paul's defence and tactics, and inability to adjust. How many times did McCloskey needed to be tagged coming out out of an exchange? It happened time after time so why didn't he keep it at long range? Well good luck to him in the future but it's a long road back.
