FIRST IRISH BOXING AWARDS ON SATURDAY http://www.britishboxing.net/news_4190-First-Irish-boxing-awards-this-Saturday.html
Rumour has it Healy pulled out any one got any info.Would have been a tough fight and good test for Power.
I think that means it will be on Sky only. This year a lot of the big fights involving Peters boxers will be in the north. And rte seem reluctant to broadcast there. So Peters will be looking for tv deals elsewhere.
i would much rather the fights stayed on rte...so all Ireland can view them...maybe this is the start of rte and peters splitting:good
yeah i hope healy hasn't pulled out. i read in the limerick leader 2 day's ago that power will be on the undercard of lee's next fight in nyc.
yeah i agree fra i would like to see mccloskey try to raise his profile to dunne's level and try to get the whole country behind him. I also hope he get's a euro title shot asap. I think he was installed as the mandatory this week so that was good news for him.
Nevermind the british title defense, unless it is a stay busy fight.McCloskey should be aiming for the Euro Crown.
I figured thats what it ment doesnt make any odds to me as ive got sky and rte but its not helping boxing as a whole on the island get the fingure out RTE!!
I heard before that it costs alot more money for rte to set up and broadcast from NI dont know why, just what i was told so maybe that is a factor or more likely the contract Paul signed for the title fight stipulates his next 2 or 3 must be a sky exclusive.
