Does anyone else think young Wayne Kelly deserved to nick this fight?

Granted it was very close, but i thought he landed more clean, eye catching punches. Still a really good performance against an experienced international boxer in Maxwell. Kelly will be a great addition to a very strong 64kg class in Ireland come the next seniors.

Spike and Stephen Ormond travelled over to London for sparring while Packie is looking after Buglioni in week up to world title fight. Eddie Hearn organised sparring with Ricky Burns and Ryder today for lads will keep you posted how it went. I will also have news of my next fight very soon.

Press conference for Buglioni-Chudinov on now with Steve Collins and Roy Jones Jnr sitting side by side. I fancy Buglioni to pull off upset big underdog but has had likes of Blackwell over for sparring and has done 12 rounds with three fresh guys and looked as strong in last as first. Me and Spike also helping with sparring leaving everything in ring and he's took it all well.

Guy he's fightinh has to be weakest of the world champions and only 13 fights if he sticks to boxing I think he can grind out a good points win 👍 His camp went perfect and if Chudinov overlooked him in slightest he be In for a shock.

Barry McGuigan is saying his sons have been negotiating with Eddie Hearn. His sons! Would'nt you think with this being the biggest fight of Carls career that Barry would be there in person every step of the way?

IBF confirmed Frampton Quigg won't be viewed as a unification. The don't recognise the WBA (regular). As such Frampton is likely to be ordered to fight Wake on 28th Sept (as in he'll be ordered to arrange the fight on that date, he doesn't have to fight him next week haha). Well, fingers crossed that clears the way for a February Quigg date. There are too many PPVs before Christmas to make it viable.

Stephen Ormond has signed with PBC.

Should open up some opportunities for him

Frampton is superior in every department, including power. As soon as Quigg feels a solid jab from Frampton, the realisation of what he was facing will hit him like a ton of bricks.

I really just can't see Quigg making so much as a dent in Frampton.

Wonder who the 'gangland figure' reported shot near Marbella is? Very unhealthy climate over there - lotta lead in the air....

Not being awkward Luke, but its hard to forget how easily he folded against Khomitsky last year, and only the other month he struggled with Lee Markham??. Hard to convince me that Bugsy is any great shakes - he strikes me as a guy with a very low plateau and he has already reached it. Lets hope he can raise his game to new levels that I've never seen before, but I wouldn't count on it, sorry to say. :thumbsup

I see where your coming from and outside looking in would agree from past performances but definite reasons behind those performances. Reminds me of Andy Lee his stoppage on feet by Vera similar to Franks Khomitsky loss then Fitzgerald performance can be compared to Franks Markham showing. Then rises on world title occasion to beat a world class amatuer in Korobov just as Frank will to beat Chudinov, wishful thinking maybe but watching him in gym and out dominating guys you rate in Blackwell etc aswel as his demeanour up to fight means I'm backing him for win. Thank me later for the tip 😂
