Blackwell BJS CEJ top 3 - cant make up my mind which order. Andy 4. Cant decide who is 5 - prob not Ryder....probably Spike. Very decisive Len I know! I m better at head-to -heads though!

I find it interesting that you think Quigley will have no bother beating Cummings down the line. Quigley barely s****ed past Cummings in their two senior bouts - most recently the time that Quigley went on to win out the seniors followed by Euro gold and World Silver (so Quigley at his peak) - and apparently that fight could have genuinely went either way! On top of that, many would argue that Cummings' style as an amateur was actually more suited to the pros than Quigley's. Now I know that Quigley has made the transition to pro in a far more impressive manner than many might have anticipated (i.e. he wasn't heavy handed as an amateur), but I believe that, all factors considered, it should be classed as a 50/50 down the line.

Goldenboy have tendancy to feed there prospects "duds" for the first several fights giving a false impression of power from the prospect. We wont know how hard Quigley is punching until he faces moderate opposition at least.
I think it's a popular myth that strong, go-forward, two-handed, pressure amateurs make very good pros, i think they tend to make solid pros? Movement, dynamism and brains are what separates top ams and this for the greater part carries into the pros. Chin, stamina and fortitude are what catches some top amateurs out.
By comparing their amateur fights to the pro game. Cummings was a pressure fighter as an amateur but hasn't really fought that way as a pro, so their amateur fights should have no comparison on a pro fight between them, should it happen. I think Quigley wins if they fight.
