Not so sure about that, the best Paddy has been was in the wsb over 5 rounds when he was allowed weight 50.5k at the day before weigh in, Exactly what he would weigh as a flyweight pro so i wouldnt write him off just yet, A couple of quick fire fights and move up the division fast would be the key as you alluded to hes not the youngest but at his weight a quick ascent is very possible especially with the extensive experience he has already,
It's entirely possible that I'm making some stupid mistake here ....but I'm having a problem with Sky Ppv ordering of the GGG v brook fight. Anybody else besides me in the Irish republic having trouble ordering the GGG v brook fight via the "box office" button on their sky remote control???
Paddy has a huge Belfast fan base, surely at least he should take advantage of that from a financial angle :think
It's hardly news though is it? It was always going to happen and the shmbolical state of affairs in our amateur set up (including the likely cut back in funding from the beurocrats) only made it sooner rather than later.
The kid has some KO power, he'll be an exciting pro. Backed by Barney Eastwood too! Strange.. Let's get some big shows back to Belfast
Looking like 3 shows in 6 weeks this Autumn in Belfast. Only one will be big admittedly but good to see activity
