He might as well take it if it's on offer. Jacobs is too big too skilful and he himself is a big puncher too, so a straight ahead brawler like spike will prob be in for a rough night.
Jacobs would only be taking this if they see it as a chance for him to look really good against an opponent tailor made for him to showspcase his skills and power.

Last man standing lineup announced tomorrow.
    Roe is confirmed.
    Sheehan is rumoured.
Who else are we expecting to enter??
25k prize money, there are very few active Irish fighters that have boxed for that type of money.

Huge money for most Irish fighters. The extra €5,000 going to the amateur club is nice too. Will be a good night.

Meli would be hard to beat in this firmat.his all action southpaw style would lend itself well to the competition.
    Like a middleweight Willie Casey

    Sheehan
    Roe
    Meli
Henry Coyle back after 4 years, most experienced pro in the field
Mc Glincey tough with a good engine limited pro experience
Pod Mc Crory good experienced amateur again limited pro experience
Blaney good experince as an amatuer impressive if somewhat padded 9-0 record as a pro
Eight guy to be announced in the coming week,
From this group i would be looking at Sheehan or Meli to take home the cash

    Katie comes home April 14,
No venue mentioned,i wonder will they go with the 3 arena? It can be reduced in size by blanking the top tier,
It would need a solid undercard though, Burnett defending would be too much to hope for but Irish fights like Keeller versus Cummins, Geraghty versus Carroll would help,

    Good read.
What a shame Darren sutherlands death was! Tragic. Didn't know he was upset about a bad cut??? I must say, I know he was grief stricken and all, but I didn't like the way Darren's father put so much blame on frank Maloney. That was very unfair and wrong of him.
