Think he has retired

 

Any predictions for the fights in Belfast on Saturday. There's about five good fights on the bill. Would be surprised if all the home boxers won their contest.

 

Meli Keeler and Gallagher have tough assignments alright. Would be surprised if all three win.
Mc Comb can make a statement with a good win.
Mc crory and Collins should be competitive but I expect mc crory to have too much boxing for Collins
I'd expect comfortable enough wins for the rest but I think we might see the conlan fight competitive for a few rounds before he takes over.

 

Dennis Hogan will be announcing this week who he will be fighting next.

Can't see Gallagher beating Jenkins,the lads relentless.Arias is also a class act going to be tough for a vastly improved Keeler, hoping Arias isn't a good traveller. Marutjan was a world class amateur and can't understand why the Germans are exposing their rising star to a potential home town decision. On paper Marutjan has the tools to deal with Meli,the only plus in Meli box is the natural size difference. They are great match ups.

 

I agree very refreshing to see decent fights on an undercard that the home fighter is prob the betting underdog,Even the collins mc crory fight and mc combs fight are very interesting matches,
A good show around if only we had more like this

 

McCrory and McCromb should win on points in as you rightly say are also good fights. This is a massive event in Belfast, read somewhere it could be the start of a yearly event, that is boxing in that particular Park.

 

He has retired. Picked up a decent job and living a quiet life. Best decision he ever made

 

Sounds like he’s at peace with the decision. Good to hear. Unlucky not to medal at a major championships or qualify for an Olympics. But there’s far more to life than boxing!

 

Luke keeler is very scarce on here these days???

His fight is interesting....how do ye see it going ?

 

Arias is a world class operator, a masive step up from Cummings, but still a vastly improved Luke has a chance. Although Keeler is rightly the underdog in this fight.

 

What do you know about keelers opponent?

Genuine world class fighter far and away better than any opponent keeler has faced.
Paddy power has Luke abig underdog and I'm afraid I would have to agree..but you never know he has surprised me in the past.

Meli is underrated...in a way it’s a shame he has a full time job. Collins made weight but can he perform so light. He’s naturally a big lump of a lad and he may be weak so light.
Acid test for Conlan and Keeler. Hope Luke sticks to his boxing and doesn’t try to steam thru this guy and get caught out. He made that mistake before.
