Does anyone know is Jason Quigley's father any way involved in his boxing career anymore? It seemed to me that he was his main coach in the amateurs when he won Euro gold and World silver but I've seen little or nothing of him as part of Quigley's pro career.

Can anyone confirm the exact nature of the injury that forced Ryan Burnett to retire?

You just have to hand it to Hogan. He is a very tough guy. Taking on a much bigger man. Once again we see boxing is not a body beautiful contest or a bodybuilding context....as Ruiz proved against Joshua last time. But the size difference is just ridiculous. Hogan isn't even a particularly big light middleweight. Charlo is a very big middleweight.

That didn't go well. Undersized and overmatched. But it does serve as a yardstick as to the level munguia is at, which is encouraging for spike!

Maybe, knowing his son better than anyone else he may have known Jason wasn't cut out for the pro game? And wanted no part of it?? Just guessing here but...

Hogan just not at that level. Tried hard have to give him his due, he done extremely well to get himself two World title shots though but for me he doesn't beat Keeler or Quigley if they were to match up in the future

Thanks for the response. Doesn't seem like a plausible reason though. He was by his side as he won medals at euros and worlds. He was also involved in Jason signing with Golden Boy. It always seemed like he was his biggest supporter but then disappeared. Even on social media there seems to be no mention of Conor.
My guess is there was some sort of a falling out but strangely there's been no mention of it whereas when KT and her father fell out it was well publicised. Both seemed to have as much of an influence on their son/daughter's career.

Ultimately it's not very important- just something that struck me!

    * Dennis Hogan is in good spirits and is dropping back to 154 lbs and most
likely to fight in the US in first half of next yr.
    * Another of Ireland 's top AM talents Clonard Flyweight Conor Quinn has
joined the same stable as Conor Wallace and making his pro debut on
the Gold Coast this week. CQ has represented Ireland National Team was
trained by Paddy Graham Sr and hopes to become as success like TJ
    Doheny.

Pretty much the worst possible style match up Luke could face. How do ye rate his chances? Hopefully he’ll come on here and tell us about it.....
