Thank you Podge and others for your kind words. This thread like Irish boxing has went from strength to strength in recent times. And long may both continue to thrive.

    LEE WINS IN GERMANY

Lee's performances this year have been nothing short of terrible. He needs to seriously sit down and reassess his technique, maybe get back to basics, starting with the jab. If things don't radically change, then his career will be over as soon as he meets a decent puncher.

Lee finally put his man on the canvas in the final round but up until then he was very untidy and getting caught with too many shots. His defence was wide open and his use of the jab was terrible.

Where do you think he goes from here, getting rid of Steward as some are suggesting seems a little extreme :think

I say make Duddy Lee happen, Duddy has nowhere else to go, and Lee could do with a "name" on his CV at this stage.

Irish boxing is getting better and better. Some good fighters out there at the moment. Lee last night he looked iffy. I dont know maybe the defeat he has had is still playing on his mind. I was at the Dunne Cordoba fight and Lee was on the undercard and from watching at ringside he looks way to easy to hit. I think if he works on his defence he has every chance of going far. He is looking to come back home from the interview with Sky last night when he wins a World Title but by the way he is fighting it is looking like it wont happen any time soon. Still young and learning maybe a move to a new camp would be good depending on who it is with. Give him another year with Steward to see where he is then.

I hope he comes good but I cant at the moment see it happening for him.

I think he needs a hard test maybe a fight with Macklin or Duddy but rumours are Duddy maybe dropping down a weight so Macklin would be a real test for him. If he wins that fight then he can take it from there.

Macklin is being promoted by Warren, so for Andy to get a fight with Macklin he might have to travel to England. I think Warren has other ideas for Matthew.

Would some high profile fights in Limerick not be the answer to this.:think

It doesn't matter were he fights most of his fights have been outside Ireland apart from what 2 fights 1 in Limerick and on the Dunne Undercard. I think the more fights he has outside of Ireland will do him the world of good. I have heard he has no promoter any more and thats how he got on the Dunne undercard maybe I am wrong. He just needs a real test to see were he is at and how far he can go.

lee never had a promoter , he just signs 1 fight deals with different promoters , i think maybe he should sign with a promoter who could get him regular fights and tv exposure in america
