Yeah Greengloves, Munroe looked massive. Bernard will have a hard road back to the European title. But let's just see how he performs on April 12th.
i just heard[a mate told me]...that there is a lot of talk about john duddy...moving down to lightmiddle...does anyone think he could be effective at this weight
He definitely has never looked like a big middleweight. Would junior middleweight be as potentially lucrative - I would venture not.
STAINT PATRICK'S SHOW AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN http://blog.thesweetscience.com/2008/03/10/st-patricks-show-at-msg
Its great to see James steppng up in class and out of the shadow of John Duddy in New York.James is a class act allround and i predict he will be in the light middle top 10 before the end of the year.
mike...a lot are thinking ...duddy can make the weight...but as mick said.. there is not as much money at that weight anyway:hi:
Hello Shamrock, it's hard to judge anything by that fight, as his opponent was woeful, but Cameron has fought at a much higher level than De Mori, so if the two were meet in the future, my money would be on Cameron.
The fight was of no consequence, Tutaki shouldn't be fighting. But De Mori moves around pretty well for a big guy, however, the smart monies on Camaron you're right.
Our heavyweight hopeful Scott Belshaw, got beat at the weekend on points to a Russian journeyman.Scott got beat by one point[one round].The trouble with Big Scott is that he loads up with every punch, and doesn't put much thought into his boxing.I hope he learns from this defeat,as he is only 22 and has a lot of time to improve.
Shamrock - check out a website called boxrec - this shows up to date records for all current and past boxers.
Thanks Mick, I'll do that. I really should have been following other posts on here as well. Just got busy. Cheers
GOOD NEWS - Oisin ***an finally got an opponant to fight at the MSG, not the one he wanted but one none the less - Brian Carden.
