    Knockoutradio, you obviously know a lot about new england boxing. While we are on the subject of irish american boxers fron new england, what do you know about the ameteur Dan O'connor? Does he have potential as a pro?

    i herd that that mccreedy frought wit a browkin jaw for 3 rounds cuz it happen in the 1st round cuz i guss the guy came 11 pounds over the weight limt and mccreedy still frought him but mccreedy took a knee cuz it was to painfull iwas at that fight after mccreedy said y keep going ill fight a otherday and mccreedy was winning but the guy look like he weighd like 200 pounds and mccreedy was 173 for that fight got to give it to mccreedy he had heart and he wanted to fight but wit a injuery like that u cant push it

    I don't know a lot about Dan O'Connor because I have never actually seen him fight.

    However, I am good friends with his trainer Dave Keefe, who also happens to train 2008 US Olympian Boo Boo Andrade, and we talk about Dan all the time.

    Dave thinks the kid has the goods. Perhaps not to ever be an elite level pro - but who could you make that assumption ever at this stage?

    O'Connor is probably turning pro around the end of the year. Knowing Dave, if he thinks his kid can fight - he will be moved quickly.

    He will likely turn pro around 140lbs and has a good pro style.

    It's better that he was stopped, as his jaw was broke.I,m really looking forward to see this guy fight.

    ya he is fighting under the peter manfrido card march 14 at the twin river casino i bet alot of people are going to see whats the talk about mccreedy i know ill be there

    McInerney is fighting Tim Flamos, the one-time Massachusetts State Cruiserweight Titlist.

    They just fought in December and Chris won via fifth round knockout. He was behind on two of the cards when the knockout happened, however.

    As of thirty seconds ago - Joey still does not have an opponent for the show.

    can you name mccreedy opponent yet...manfredy is also fighting an irish boxer...anybody any views on this.

    Fra, it looks like the Manfredo opponent is just hype for the promotion they are running. A guy with the surname Benfield from Carolina is by no means Irish.
