175 is ridiculously stacked- what I like is that there's depth at every level of it. It's not like it's top heavy with poor depth, or a bunch of guys at a decent level without the top end talent. You've got multiple guys at the P4P and solid championship level, a batch of strong contenders with a good blend of experience and up and comers, and some stellar prospects on the way up. And a good chunk of those guys have crushing power. The ones who don't have real skill. Even the fringe contenders are dangerous and deliver a fun fight for the fans. I hope we can keep seeing fights made between the top guys, as that was the biggest problem with the division for awhile.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL Light Middleweight has been the weakest division for years!! a boring wasteland that no one hasn't cared about at all until a tiny bit of interest recently. someone like that average loser Vanes wouldn't even be in the top 20 if he was at Cruiserweight, Light Heavyweight or Welterweight.
no idea who he is but I'm sure he wouldn't beat any of the top guys and It's highly likely he has a glass jaw. These Cubans are failures in the pros... a laughing stock.
Yeah, those are pretty clearly the best 5 divisions right now. But is super fly as deep as the others? After the top 8 or so it looks like there's a steep drop, unless there's great talents I haven't seen. Super feather, cruiser, and welter seem the 3 deepest.
Doesn't have the depth of others but It has the most # of p4p level talents IMO. 175 has large talen pool like 130, 200, 147 and also has several p4p level talents so It's the best shout for the most stacked division.
I don't think it's the weakest or anything, but I think it really suffered from so few matches getting fought between the top guys these last couple of years. It doesn't help that Charlo and Canelo are on their way out. I really wanted to see more matchups like Charlo-Jrock instead of Vanes and Trout being the only guys making the rounds. Lara uses boxrec ratings from 7 years ago to find opponents because he can't fight the Charlos. Andrade's got potential, but they can't get him in the ring, and he's not keen to fight Lara. Soro's fought well when he comes to the states and deserves a bigger break here, but he's back in France. Canelo feels like he's paid his dues at 154 so he's biding his time until he moves up to 160 instead of continually fighting the highest ranking guys left there now. There's talent on paper, but it's frustrating to see so many missed opportunities matchmaking wise.
your late to the party, the alt used to post under selenkii recently discredited lara by saying 154 was weak, just letting you know, his main account is deyell here
