Is a single person on Earth picking Dirrell to win this tournament?

I'm picking Andre Ward and Andre Dirrell to make it to the final fight, but I'm picking Ward to win the tournament (and probably never lose a fight in his entire career).

Andre Dirrell is being severely underrated, and I think he's going to beat Carl Froch in just a few minutes. He KO'd Anthony Hanshaw in 5 rounds; bear in mind that Roy Jones was unable to knock Hanshaw out. Dirrell has speed and skill comparable to Muhammad Ali. He also has the same record Ali had when he was about to face Sonny Liston. Everyone back then said "Cassius Clay" had no chance, that he hadn't fought any great opposition, in other words the same things everyone is saying now about Dirrell.

I can see only one major difference: Carl Froch is not as good as Sonny Liston.

I agree with your first sentence, but when you say it's too early to fight Carl Froch, you're making the same mistake most experts made before the Liston-Clay fight. If he has the goods, he can fight anyone and win. Carl Froch is tailor-made for Andre Dirrell. It's going to be like the Foreman-Young fight. But I think Dirrell has the power to knock Froch out before the halfway mark.

I'm also picking Dirrell to beat Kessler, Taylor, and Abraham . His main problems will be against Ward, who is more agile with his body and will be landing more shots after ducking the jab.

Ward will go undefeated because he has all the physical attributes of Joe Calzaghe. Froch and Kessler are about to be exposed by the two American youngsters.

I've just watched a few vids...by the look of things Froch is going to eat a lot of leather and have a lot of trouble dealing with his speed and awkwardness, but at the same time if he catches Dirrell he could put him in a world of trouble.

I can see this being a very untidy fight.

Yep Im with Dirrell to the death, even if he loses a few but he will come out on top, talent is waiting to burst out from him he just needs to big stage. Similar to Ali before he fought Liston, nobody knew what Ali was about but after Liston he was the main man, that will be Dirrell come October 18th.
