Can an otherwise good boxer with a weak chin ever be as good as a decent boxer with a great chin? I mean, you can improve your footwork, your handspeed, and your head movement, but I don't know of any way you can improve your punch resistance.

Stamina is far worse. Stamina can carry a fighter with a weak chin to win decisions, without that an iron chin isn't going to do a fighter much when he's out of gas other than get pummeled longer.

I'd say a good boxer with a weak chin can definitely be as good/better than a decent boxer with a great chin. I'd also add though that poor stamina has to be up there as an ultimate weakness because it affects every aspect of your game. While stamina can be worked on, I think I'd rather find myself in a situation with a bad chin but full of beans than a strong chin and nothing left in the tank.

No, being a **** fighter is far worse.

Wach has all the chin and stamina in the world, but hes never going to beat anyone decent because he...well....useless as far as pro fighters go.

I would rather have an average chin and amazing skills, than an amazing chin and average skills.

The ultimate weakness is dedication. (A lack of)

    It's also the ultimate strength

A weak chin isn't so bad if you're good defensively.

Mental weakness is the worst IMO. Think Dimitrenko, Audley, Bowe. It affects affects discipline in preparation, toughness inside the ring and general professionalism.

Not being mentally prepared is the ultimate weakness.

Defense has nothing to do with it. Even Willie Pep got punched in the face. So did Pernell Whitaker. Regardless of how good your Defense is you are going to get hit on occasion. And if you have a Glass Jaw you will get knocked out.

So saying Defense helps is not the truth. I don't care how good your Defense is you are going to get hit and you have to have a Mandible to take it.

What about Henry Armstrong he got KO'd by a 10% KO ratio bum while he was 21?

    Any fighter can be caught
