Vitali has fought all his pro fights between 232 and 252, never being out of shape, Adamek has been between 175 and 216, he's just too small, Vitali tends to make most guys look very awkward because he's so awkward. Vitali to me seems like he enjoys spanking guys around the ring lately, instead of going for the kill. He did it to Briggs and Aerreola, of course fatty Aereola couldn't take anymore but he didn't seem interested in knocking him out, just embarrassing him. I don't see this fight going any differenty, Adamek will try to get inside, Vitali has great defense and uses his height to his advantage, he will move back as Adamek charges, use that long jab in Adameks face, then move out of the way, for a big man Vitali can really use angles well, I see this going the distance with scores like 118-110, 119-111, neither man getting seriously hurt at any time but Adamek looking like he'd been in a fight after and Vitali barely scraped.
No, it's not at all similar. Pacquiao had a huge advantage in speed, power and stamina in that fight. He is also the most exceptional fighter in terms of moving up in weight and getting better than anyone in recent times. Adamek is a good boxer but has no exceptional attribute. He is nowehere near Pacman in any way. He has good speed, but Vitali was always regarded as slow, seemingly faster fighters like Donald, Hide, Sanders were supposed to take advantage of that and failed. Speed never worked against Vitali, who as a very tall fighter, naturally looks slower than he actually is. Vitali isn't unbeatable, but so far he has never been outlanded in a fight and certainly isn't going to get hurt by a LHW.
