According to boxing forum experts EVERY boxer is born as a bum, is shot, over rated and should retire.
Way to small, to give the illusion that he's good again would require him the go down the to 140 and stay clear of pistol and Crawford. He'll need to matchmake very carefully at 147 as he's small, his power didn't go up as well
Too undisciplined. Another guy with some some ability who saw Floyd's fame, and wanted that without making the sacrifices Floyd made to get there. He's a good fighter who shortchanged himself.
He had the talent of course, he has really good speed and natural reflexes. But he hasn't improved since he was 20, and by now it's too late to develop that skill and boxing iq. He is what he is, a pretty talented guy who fights down to his level of opposition but actually is proven tough and will put on a lot of fun fights. Shouldn't be headlining Showtime cards, the gulf in class between him and Peterson was pretty blatant. Let Broner be a Spike TV guy or something.
not at all hes just not that good and already said in the post fight interview against Granados that he is looking to get out of boxing...i guess he realized he never gonna be the next superstar
He wasn't that good from the beginning. He's like Szpilka. Good fighter to watch, entertaining but will never be elite. He could have been potential for a big 50 th fight of Floyd, that fight could have been advertised really well.
Too small. He should still be at 135. Unfortunately for him, he can't make the weight. He was a dominant force while at 135.
overrated. also he needs to go back to kindergarten and start with reading, writing and arithmetic. don't think that will help...just a suggestion.
How is he too small when Gavin Reese clobbered on him the same way Maidana did? The difference was that Maidana was the same size of Broner. Broner is just one dimensional when it comes to defence. He has the offensive tools, but lacks the defence.
