The trouble with Khan is that although he is a good prospect, instead of going about his business he is talking **** about other fighters and making very bold claims. The Jon Thaxton fight is a perfect example, talk a load of crap about what he would do to Thaxton, and then duck the fight instead to fight a feather-fisted Dane for some WBO intercontinental bauble. I personally think Khan would beat Thaxton, but the unwillingness to take a risk by Khan and his promotor against a legiitimate puncher have never been realised, contrary to all the bold talk. This is why Khan is hated on so much.

Yea he's running before he can walk and quite frankly i wish warren would just **** off he's so bad for british boxing protecting fighters and having refs in his pocket it's all a big money gravy train here in the uk.

I have to agree with most of this I'm afraid. I'm not keen on him & the thought of Warren having yet another meal ticket from strings of WBO defences sickens me.

I think he's underated by boxing fans, people tend to judge him just on the knockdown he suffered against Limond, but fail to recognise the heart and determination he showed to come back and KO Limond, that showed a mark of a champion and it's a shame people are so wrapped up on the fact he has a shakey chin but fail to realise what he's good at. Many fighters have shakey chins and some go on to become world champions and even all time greats, not saying Amir will become one, but give the kid a break he's only had 15 fights.

WBO = Warren's belt. I wouldn't be surprised if Khan wins an interim version while he's 21, win it outright if it's vacated and then defend it for years to come :D

No - Khan is actually OVERRATED. He will be exposed as a glass-jawed fraud as soon as he faces anyone who can punch, even a bit.

There is a REASON why his handlers are putting him in with tomato cans with EXTREMELY low KO percentages. And even with this careful matchmaking this china-chinned hype job hit the deck!!! :patsch

A KO waiting to happen, and an overrated one at that.

I wouldn't rule out the notion that Earl was paid to take a dive and make Khan look legit.

Khan, to me, is overrated. I don't see him as a future P4P star like many do. I see him more as a lightweight contender who loses to not only the best, but other lower-level contenders.

Khan has GREAT speed, but I don't see great technical skills or great timing. His chin is very questionable so when he faces a big puncher, he probably gets knocked out. I see him as the lightweight Jason Litzau - perhaps having a bit more success.

If I'm wrong, I'll be the first to congratulate him

Not sure exactly where his heads at. Great talent who is knocking down the people put in front of him every 12 days but who are these people Frank?
The crowd who pay good money to see a contest seem to be gettin on his back and i would too if i travelled half way round the UK to catch a 1 rounder.
Not givin Thaxton a chance might come back to haunt him in some way.
Not to happy either when you read about his driving antics. He`ll end up doing time like Hamed if it doesnt bother him hitting a pedestrian and clocking up speeds of 140 mph.
Bit of a show off who needs his feet to come back down to ground.
I`m slightly gettin fed up of him.

Litzau is a great comparison, Khan may be more talented, but his whiskers are just as fragile. I expect him to get starched as soon as he faces ANYONE with a KO percentage over 50%, if not before.:yep

I would have a lot more time for Khan if he took the Katsidis path and went over to the States and generated some real excitment and interest.
