exactly. Limond is no tomato can but he's notorious for having no power at all, and if the ref was doing his job he'd have counted Khan out.
Litzau springs to mind, as does Fraudley. There are glaring similarities between Khan and Fraudley.....though to be honest I reckon the hype is slightly more justified for Khan, but that's not saying much. At least he has some speed.

another know nothing fool who needs educating. you don't unify and dominate your division for 6 years without facing some world class fighters.

with all due respect mate earl got ****ing battered. he was shot sure, but that was no dive, he took several unanswered, brutal shots. no way was he hitting the canvas on purpose. he just exposed as being shot and past it.

He'd beat guys like Thaxton and Katsidis. You can punch all you like but you got to land.

Man give the kid a break, at least he's showing some ambition.

If you can't see his skill and power your a ****ing idiot. Loads of lightweights get knocked down. As long as you can get up and spark the bloke out who gives a ****.

Amir Khan is neither underrated nor overrated IMO, you are making too much account of this two terms . All the experts are saying is that Amir has a lot of POTENTIAL to be a future champ. I agree with that. Of course there are some who think he is an overhyped B level fighter, others see him as a P4P superstar but that's for the future to decide. He has been very imperssive many times and unimpressive a few but was always exciting to watch. Do not "underrate" or "overrate" anyone. Nonsense. His competition and result will decide how good is he and I think he is pretty good.

He SHOULD be a world champion, he deserves the best prospect of the year award (this year it's gonna be Gamboa ) but will he be a big champ? We'll see...

Something was seriously not right with Earl that night.

Ok skills, great athletic ability, but a weak chin and a poor defense is not a good combo!
I think he'll be world class but will have a very topsy turvy career. He'll loose as much as he wins at the highest level.
Be interesting to see how he reacts to his first defeat.
