This just a denial of reality. While Kovs belt line shifted throughout the fight his navel was either visible or at the line of his trunks...most of Wards body work was well south of the navel line and the final punch was without question on the cup region.

Your so wrong about your repeated assertions of multiple lows shots, Vivek Wallaces Left hook lounge Bag article on this site gives the best description of what a low blow actually is and its kind of amusing that's so many fight fans aren't aware of the rules in this regard. Apart from 1 shot that I think was maybe marginally low there is still no proof only opinion of any illegal shots.

You do realize you basically just wrote that apart from the low blow there wasn't any low blows. That sounds like a sound statement to you?

1 marginal shot doesn't prove your argument at best it would have resulted in a warning and had no impact on the outcome other then people delusional enough to believe he was coming back from that onslaught. He was offering basically no retaliation and you cant deny that he was showing signs of fatigue from at least the 6th round?

Really? Where did I say there was multiple low blows? Certainly not in the post you quoted.

Vivik Wallace is a wannabe and his mailbag sucks. I used to read them but I stop. He tries too hard to be impartial but he is not.

80 percent of ward body blow are below the navel. An inch or 2 below is ok but still deserve warning.
In the absence of the warning, THAT'S how the fight ended.

Yes, I disputed the claim that all of Ward's punches were on the navel. Where did i argue multiple "low shots" "low blows" ?

What you call marginal, I call a clear punch to the cup.

And my argument on that has always been the same, I am opposed to the stoppage of a fight on a clear low blow. As has been stated a thousand times, I nor do most others on my side care what you or anyone else sees in their crystal ball...a fight cannot be stopped like that on a low blow.

I can think of two other fights stopped on an alleged low blow and the circumstances were much different. Buchanan vs Duran. There was no in ring instant replay at the time of this fight, the ref missed the low blow but gave Buchanan an opportunity to continue, and he refused to answer the bell for the next round. Judah vs Khan, Judah went down, was warned and counted out.
