A minor one. No ATG names on the resume, but some real good ones. Undefeated and yet the beneficiary of one of the most blatant screwings ever.

 

Yeah without doubt in my mind. He cleaned up at SMW and ruled the division.

At LHW he got a win against Barrera which looked better in hindsight and scored two wins over Kovalev.

The first fight I scored for Kovalev but could see it going the other way very easily. The rematch puts it beyond dispute. Ward was the superior man.

When Ward retired he was the best fighter in the world and unified title holder in two divisions. The bets fighter in two divisions.

I'd say Ward is amongst the best 35 boxers to ever lace em up.

 

This thread is so disrespectful as is the question. Of course Dre is an ATG. Calling him S.O.B shows the mindset predisposition. A great fighter and an even better man. I am so happy I got to meet him a better gentleman you won’t find.

Ward needs to stay retired, corruption is ruining the sport..There was 2 weight classes between them the last time it was spoke about, Ward moved up because he couldn't make 168 anymore, I mean its for everyone to see, he cant find the energy to open his eye lids properly

 

Great record but not an ATG. Protected fighter.

Btw , there was just one division between them at the time , not two.
