Carl never really wanted the rematch. No, it wouldn't have been a different story. Andre beat Carl easy despite having a fractured wrist.
Are you STILL on this thread spewing your dumb ****?? LMAO! You really need to give it up parasite. And I wasn’t quoting you in those last posts was I? What did I tell you before?? You go ahead and be a Ward fan, ignore all the blatant dirty crap he pulled in EVERY one of his fights... and ignore the corruption that surrounded his fights. You can’t fix stupid so I won’t try to point out to you more obvious things that made Ward a POS in the sport. OK? Cool. Calzaghe > Ward Your attempts at being a troll
Yes turds like him and Loudon actually consider trash decisions and corruption filled fights with crap stoppages ‘wins’
^^^^ LMAO!!! Triggering turds like you is too funny on here Oh and LIKEWISE sport. Believe me on that. And on to your little answer. I think the location of the Kovalev fights ultimately WAS the deciding factor of the outcomes. The judges and ref wouldn’t have been the same most likely. Imagine if Sergey had the ref from last nights Briedis fight. Ward would have been deducted point and possibly disqualified.
The judges and ref may not have been the same, but the outcome might well have remained the same. I've seen plenty of officials let more slide in fights than what took place in Kov-Ward I and II. You can extrapolate all you want- and you will- but the truth is that you don't know for certain how the fight would have played out in another country, and I think that drives you crazy, my dearest little snowflake. In truth, I don't know how Ward-Kovalev would have played out in a different country, either. The only thing I'm certain of is death and taxes. I can only hope that my death holds off until the point when Bivol and Gvodzyk take over and engage in their own series for LH supremacy. As for your ability to hold off until then..? Well... I suppose you can refer to my initial post.
Should do considering the Yanks throw the same scenario around regarding non US fighters. What bothers me more is his obvious reluctance to go fight in Canada against Chickenson, when obviously Chickenson is the bigger money draw.
I agree a point deduction was quite possible, I'd have said so as a ref, but disqualification wouldnt have happened at that point, period. thing is, todd, how would a point deduction affect a tko result? kovalev still got krushed.
Not kicking on after the super 6 tarnishes his legacy more. Ward had a massive leg up after that tournament. He earned his position after that tournament, but due to his ego he had to sit on the shelf. He never really recovered. I see Ward as a fighter of great promise, but largely failed to deliver. And I say that as a Ward fan.
Like the GGG vs Canelo ‘Who Really Won?’ Poll?? Lol Or this one... https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/how-would-prime-calzaghe-have-done-in-the-super-six.583876/ I usually have em go my way sport I love it when posters make stupid comments and it gets blown up in their faces.
The issue with the USA (population 323 million) isnt the same as say it is with wales (population 3 million). It is CLEARLY and BLATANTLY obvious that the USA is really an amalgamation of more than one "country", in respect of being composed of several very different cultural bodies. Look at the difference between it and wales - over 100 TIMES the difference. Anyone trying to create an agenda about the USA in this particular respect is a fool.
