Those fights (Bakole/Hrgovic) would be 50/50 IMO, Joshua could have them both in as much peril as they have him. They both get hit as well. And Joshua for all his deficiencies, is still a legit hitter. I actually think Bakole/Hrgovic would be a good fight tbh
Joshua does have better boxing ability than most of the top ten, so feasibly he could muster a win against the non punchers. Parker and the Hrgovic of the division he still beats. The problem would be against any of the big hitters. Dubois pretty much laid out the blueprint. You would have to give Joshua a punchers chance against anyone but those fights would now be 50/50. If not worse due to his poor punch resistance.
Not really mate. If you look at all the top boxers at HW, they all have at least 1 big win in the top 10. Wallin is only ranked so highly due to his close loss to a Fury off of fat camp with a horrible cut. He doesn’t have 1 single win on his record which merits a top 10 place. Name me one single boxer in the consensus top 10 without 1 big win? Ergo AJ’s record at world level since 2021 is 0-3, as Wallin ain’t world level.
He's a Top 10 guy according to The Ring, TBRB & Top Heavyweight Boxing. Just like Wallin was. Your opinion is different and that's ok, but Wallin was universally seen as a Top 10 guy when AJ faced him.
I think he is done now. It's not his age or physical attributes, or even his natural boxing skill levels that's done. It's the single most important thing a fighter must have in abundance that's AJ's Achilles heel. His natural self confidence and self belief ( lack of) moving forward after he took a complete and utter pasting last Saturday night. At this stage of his career I just can't see him rebuilding tbh.
