No, he lost a fight I expected him to lose.

Id favour him against Parker, Kabayel, Wilder, Zhang.

But Bakole, Dubois they wreck him.

    AJ can't actually box. He's not a boxer. He's a bodybuilder.

I'm not sure I would say he is done at world level. He lost to a world level operator last weekend - there's no shame in that, although it was a bad loss. I don't want to write him off based off the back of that one fight. It's possible he's declining or regressing. It's also possible that Dubois was a bad stylistic problem for him. Based on previous form I think it's perfectly feasible he could still pick up wins against some of the top 10.
I would probably ask 'should be consider retirement?' Because he desperately wants to be a world champion again - and is that actually possible against Usyk and Dubois, two men he has already lost to? If not is there any point continuing, at any level?

Dubois exposed Joshua has a C+ level chin like Ruiz did some years ago.

Usyk exposed he has a low IQ ring.

His mind's almost gone in all senses.

By now he and Wilder can just beat B level fighters imo.

No. Because the Brits will still pay to see him.

And I'll pay to see him thrashed by Fury if they fight

Nah. He's still top ten and would be favoured over a few. I think Fury, Usyk, Dubios, Parker, Zhang and even Wilder beat him. He'd still beat Hrgovic, Bakole and Kabayel though.

He's regressed a lot and got over confident fighting subpar opposition. Unfortunately he seems to get rewarded for it.

He has better wins than that pre 2021 but since 2021 he really has the record you'd expect of a club fighter or gate keeper. What seems to be happening since 2021 is he is entering his mid 30's. Therefore I don't really expect an improvement.

I really believe he should cherry pick at this stage. Stay away from the punchers. Stay away from the hungry young up and comers. Target fighters stylistically you can beat. Tyson Fury is a perfect example. Same generation. Not a huge puncher. He can still enhance his legacy with key wins over tough but (for him) beatable guys. He doesn't need to rule the whole division.

New midcard or gatekeeper fighter. Tbf a shame- i still think he could have turned things around till Usyk 2. He is no match for Usyk, Fury, Dubois, Zhang or even Hrgovic. Next match? Wilder. Low risk good payout.

Fury is about the worst match up style wise for AJ outside of Usyk. He'd outbox him similar to Wlad.

AJs current problem has stemmed from not fighting punchers. Cherry picking won't help.

He could still be competitive and probably not get knocked out. Next knock out is the end you realize that? He needs to at least steer clear of that for a few fights.

If AJ wasn't so strangely beloved by his fellow Brits he'd be fighting on the undercard of Wednesday night ProBox events.

Anthony Joshua became gun shy after the Klitschko fight and was never the same again.
He was mentally finished after the first Andy Ruiz fight.

However, Fast Eddie said AJ is all hunky-dory and can still make plenty of moolah.

    Therefore, future AJ opponents are:
    Fury
    Wilder
    Big Baby Miller
    rematch with Dubois
    third match with Usyk
