Recent results would suggest Bellew does'nt have a real KO punch at the higher level of opponents His physique looks trim compared to Stevenson , What do you think ?
He has some power, not to the point where I'd say he has heavy hands though, not at world level anyway. He has enough to make people respect him in the ring at the very least.
i am sure i remember pundits billing him as a huge puncher years ago , He does'nt have much muscle on his pecks , very skinny looking ,
Had quite a reputation as a big hitter in the amateurs where he fought at heavy but nothing in the pro ranks suggests its carried over. He seems to think he is though as with the cleverly fight where he was boxing very well until he tried to trade with him something he didn't need to do.
I dont think he punches too correctly , the right hand is a little chopping. Domestic level power , didnt make Cleverly blink.
He is a big puncher but he has reigned it in massively. The short hook against Ovil in the first fight gave a hint. He can really bang when he lets his hands go. Still when he times the straight right its big enough to put most over if landed well. He deffo has enough to hurt Stevenson

Get him on a good weights program and he will be fine at Cruseriweight. Will be able to get alot more calories in and he has the height to fill into the weight
