Is Brook-Vargas actually going to happen?

Hearn has no confidence in brook doing suitable numbers for him.and sky....if they wedge brook.inbetween eubank and hoshua...it's going to do poor numbers....if broook has the cajones t o travel and take a risk...his exposure would do thru the roof...unification in usa would do a world of good for his poor profile...but hearn being hearn....greed..takes no risks...

 

he is a fraud, this fight with vargas is about to fall through

and there is no way he will fight spence, he will move to 154 as soon as spence becomes mando. even if he signs it, get ready for the fake injuries to roll in

brook is only 100% fit to fight cab drivers and milkmen. he wouldn't mind fighting them back to back. but even if there is a small chance of a risky fight they will push it 5-6 months and then followed by injuries/fights falling through (rios, chaves, vargas, etc.)

 

Tend to believe Vargas statement/twitter saying he signed 2 weeks ago and brook hasn't, go with his opinion over yours.

I think it's a money and ego issue on Brooks side.

He is watching as British champion Eubank Jr (who is on a three fight deal with Matchroom) is about to sign a multi million pound fight with Golovkin and he is fighting Vargas in a unification fight for a lot less with a lot less people interested.

I can sort of understand but it's about profile, big names and big fights and the big fights people want to see and Brook and Hearn have had long enough to make a Brook Vs BIG NAME fight.

We have been promised one for long enough and Brook is fast becoming irrelevant and I think Hearn knows it and that's why he hasn't offered a big name in the welterweight division the kind of money being offered to Golovkin and Jr because nobody is talking about Brook, nobody really cares.

 

Eubank has history. His name is legendary with British boxing circles.

Enough is enough now. It's time for Kell to face somebody who is at the very least world class.

 

I completely agree, Brook has had long enough to build his profile and hasn't.

I don't know what Brook, Hearn and his fans expect, Brook will be shredded now and rightly so and you are spot on Mr B it's about time Brook fought somebody world class.

But then again, when you've got a promoter whose business model IS BUILT ON domestic clashes AND a fighter who is miraculously injured EVERY TIME he isn't fighting a cab driver, you will have problems. Lots of them, too.
