Is Brook-Vargas actually going to happen?

    Hearn and Brook tried to cash out on the Khan fight and to build Brook's name and exposure in the UK and internationally but Khan messed them around as Hearn could not make good on his guarantee of £10,000,000 to Khan so it fell through.

    Then you have all the Wincobank cycling rumours and why Brook's fights are always postponed etc and it makes sense.

    Brook bloats up between fights (165-175lbs) and lives like a slob in between sometimes. Injuries are common and he feels he deserves more. His career is like Carl Froch's pre Pascal fight; endless domestic fights and low rank opposition.

    This it. IMO Vargas (and Rios before him) don't fancy fighting Brook because they know what's coming.

    So far Brook has been quiet and said very little which has got him no where. I think the penny has stated to drop with him that he needs to start calling out these guys on Twitter.

    This seems to be getting the fight made.

    Clear issue over TV with this fight would be if Eubank/GGG is on PPV Brook would have to fight on regular Sky Sports because of the schedule. Hearn would argue this needs to be on PPV because of the cost of getting Vargas over.

    Brook's career is a mess at this point- he needs to move to the US if he's serious about his boxing.

    I lost patience with him when they announced the Gavin fight. What a total waste of time that was. Then they pulled out of the Chavez fight just when I was starting to think he was finally going to step up and stay at world level.

    Is it just greed with brook or lack of confidence like him as fighter but standard of boxers he fighting is pathetic he has a belt why not go America go 40-60 to get a bigger name unify belts then be in a position of power , or does need leave Hearn as he has no sway in America whatsoever

    Both will be PPV. He's paying vargas 1.3m or something, this fight can't happen on normal tv... the issue has been trying to fit 2 ppvs into the 2nd half of the year whilst knowing joshua will be ppv november... it will be 3 ppvs 3 months back to back golovkin september brook october joshua november....

    That's a tough sell. Something has to give with 3 back to back ppvs not forgetting WWE ppvs.
