He still has enough left in the tank to give both the Charlo's a dose that will make them wish they were born a woman.

That wasn't a speed drill he was doing.

Past his peak but still prime is what I’d say, like Floyd from Ortiz-manny or Manny from Margarito-Thurman… still good enough to win big time fights but isn’t going to look as explosive while winning.. I mean the Ryder fight is considered a bad performance and he dropped em twice and broke his nose

a 39 year old Korobov coming off a year and a half layoff and being a last minute replacement utterly dominated Jermall. Anything less from Canelo means hang em up.

You don’t know how long he’s been training for in the video. Could be his last session where he’s already exhausted or just an easy day at the gym. Saying he’s “shot” from one camp video is extreme.

Boxing is a business and ANY fighter that has the draw power to make demands, does. All of them do it. There are just so few that get that power.

I bet all the people that complain about it would do the same thing. This goes back to SRL days and even WELL before that.

There are different levels of this too. You have the Canelo level that is absurd, but you also have the hypocrite level like Benevidez. Says Canelo is ducking him despite Benevidez having a crap resume, then Benevidez doesn't want to fight Morrell (who HAS a strap) but wants to fight fkn Munguia.

Jermall actually was, that's why he's got so much anger towards them today.

I think the second time Benavidez got stripped (for weight) broke him mentally. He went from a guy who had big ambitions (to be a real star of the sport, huge paydays fighting top opposition) to someone who wants to make just enough to keep himself in blow and hamburgers for a while.

Truth be told, I think he got screwed, but no one knew what they were supposed to be doing vis-a-vis infection control protocols and the other guy managed to make weight so he should have been that much more careful.

I'm no canelo fanboy, but he has a much greater legacy than that fat duck Fury

Fury has fought 2 good opponents in his career and one was 40 year old. He will be remembered as a 6'7 300lb chicken

The speed in the video means nothing, that was not a drill for speed. regardless 60+ fights against top shelf fighters and at higher weight classes will take it out of you. I don't think he is slowing down. But i do think he is smart enough to alter how he operates based on his age and weight. Make no mistake about it it all takes a toll on you, and he is definitely showing signs of wear, he has been for a while now. Doesn't mean he is slowing down or "shot"
