Why is this subject up again? Besides the obvious lack of proof, it could easily be argued the punch output, pressure, granite chin and will of Margarito had a lot more to do in winning the fight than his punching power. Yes Cotto got busted up quickly which is suspicious, but he was also getting hit too much, and playing macho with Margo for too long. Let a rematch shine a better light on the first fight :good

I know he did something wrong in the Mosley fight. You obviously don't pay attention to the Margarito threads.

There is absolutely no proof he cheated against Cotto. It would be very hard.

Now do I believe he cheated in other fights? Yes I do, but I can't say he cheated against Cotto because there is no proof what so ever.

 

Cotto head hunted and lacks the defense to protect from an uppercut. Margos punches are slow, but when you decide to stop moving. It's easier to hit.

Also, In california, they do not issue fresh gauze, you use your own. While in vegas you use the gauze thats given to you on fight night.

lets not make this a nuts conversation man please i beg of you. some might say he is others ma think he isnt. he is a top contender/champion in his prime that everyone unerrates and has good boxing skills, fair pop in both arms, awesome defense, questionable stamina and a good record. for me an A class fighter should at least have four of the things i just said he has them, then for me he is. u see this is called difference of opinion wich im entitled too and so are u so lets leave it at i think he is u dont see it that way.

Well if you want to second guess the result due to Margarcheato, who almost assuredly had loaded gloves for the Cotto fight, than lets also second guess all his wins too, to be fair. Were any of them controversial? Could the contoversy effect the result of the fight?

Coyote Duran made a case that you could score Malignaggi the winner of their fight. Sounds crazy cuz Malignaggi was so beat up in their compared to Miguel, but he won rounds and wobbled Cotto late. Personally I would have to watch again and read the article again its been a long time.

What about that fight against who was it? Corley? Wasn't their some BS there in Puerto Rico?

Mosley? I rewatched and thought Cotto pulled it out. But Mosley is an ass for not taking the remach in New York I think he should win a rematch.

Cotto got hurt by Torres but came back to win. He seemed to get into a lot of trouble weight drained at 140.

Personally Cotto has my sympathies on this one. But where was Nazim when we needed him? Where the hell are the commissions and the other trainers? This is embarassing. Boxing can be depressing all the time with this crap.
