Dubois's fragile glass mandible would get shattered in ANY era. https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/daniel-dubois-has-a-glass-jaw.696063/ Ron Lyle would destroy him. Williams I'm less sure of because he packs glass just like Dubois. On that one, whoever lands first on the other guy's shaky whiskers wins.
I think he's got enough to beat Williams To the second point, no. Dubois lost to usyk and was on the canvas vs lerena who are closer in size to past heavyweights and dubois has shown vulnerability. I do think size plays a massive part in heavyweight boxing but it's not an absolute marker for superiority
Daniel isn’t 6’5”. He’s about 6’ 3 1/2 “ or so in reality. Usyk is more like 6’2” himself. Not to be mean but Dubois also has an elongated melon - so even when eye to eye with someone, he would likely still measure as taller, FWIW.
I don’t think that DDD necessarily has a glass chin, but his commitment in the past can be questioned I guess. At least in his last fight, he did get dropped by a peach of punch which discombobulated him but didn’t see him completely out.
Let's not be fooled into thinking Dubious wouldn't wreck most of these old what-nots just because the GOAT boxer beat him. Of course Dubious is going to quit against some of them, tough ones who withstand some punishment then grind him down. Even Purity beat Wlad that way. Tough fighters can always be a problem. But in general he's going to destroy them like he did AJ. Also a nice guy, smiles in interviews and doesn't curse on TV.
