He only did it once, in a fight that Frank Warren who knows what he's doing promoted. And good figures fo seanta are still only about 300-400,000 people. I was reading the paper and Micheal Jennings is taking 150 grand and travelling abroad for his chance to beat a real boxing star, whereas Cotto is making millions, Haye should show some of the same attitude.
wtf are you on about, haye was the man at crusierweight and is a decent name, jennings vs cotto is very different :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:roll:
Maybe but Wlad had other possibilities. He good choose for example Chris Arreola or James Toney, if he wants to fight against a boxer with a big mouth to promote a fight. James Toney is the man :good In germany Wlad could fight Brian Minto and fill a big hall in germany with a huge crowd of 16.000. The german TV RTL can promote this fight very well because of Mintos win against Axel Schulz. 18 Millions watch this fight. Many germany knew Minto, but not Haye (this is such an example). But what possibilities have Haye? He can fight for the Heavyweight Championship. But it is a voluntary defence for the Champ. IBF Contender for the Mandatory is Povetkin! Do you believe Sauerland will let fight Povetkin against Haye so that Haye can become the Mandatory for the IBF. No way. WBC Vitali Klitschko, Mandatory Juan Carloz Gomez, next Maskaev (?). WBA? No chance for Haye. Whom can David Haye fight for big money?
I have a suspicion that it's not him that's looking to back out. Getting this signed has been unnecessarily difficult. Notice that Wlad's camp has Arreola on standby. I said all along that that would be the fight he wants. Slow, fat, easy to hit, shaky chin (not saying Haye's isn't either), no skills, padded "undefeated" record that still shows inexperience. Arreola is the ideal Wladimir opponent.
Not only are you drastically underrating Chris Arreola, but you aren't even making sense. If Wlad's intention was to NOT fight Haye, and fight Arreola instead... then he simply wouldn't ignored David Haye and fought Arreola.:conf It isn't as if Wlad even HAD to turn his attention towards Haye, who has really not done much more than run his mouth in the heavyweight division. Haye himself promised the fans that he was going to knock out 2 top ten opponents before he fought Wlad. Wlad could simply make Haye look like a fool by telling him that he is waiting for him to fulfill that promise to knock out two top 10 opponents first.
Then I'm sure Haye would retort with "why set your brother on me then, and why that remark about me in the post-fight interview after you bored Rahman to sleep?" WALDO wants this fight to happen just as much as Haye does, is the truth of the matter. This is the biggest fight out there for BOTH of them, money-wise.
Haye is almost turning this into how Tommy Burns played hard to get with Jack Johnson. It's all may just be a prelude to the beating he will take,
Obviously Wlad wants this fight to happen. I'm sure that Haye does too. I think that they both want the fight to happen for different reasons though.:yep
I will be out all night (late), starting in about 15 minutes. Will the show be available on your website later tonight? Who's on?
