But the right question is will DAZN succeed and be successful in the end. And the answer to that question is we don't know. It's far from certain at this point.

Well the answer is that there’s no way to know since we have no idea what they’re paying for those rights fees for all those sports (or if it’s a profit share, how much that eats into their chance to make money).

Past month or so you've had Canelo, Jacobs, Inoue, Joshua, GGG all fighting on DAZN. If you have the $100 yearly deal, that's great value.

It's got a lot more to do with DAZN then just Hearn you simpleton. Hearn is not even an integral figure at DAZN. They could drop him like a hat especially if Joshua loses to Ruiz again. You think they really care about having the likes of Tommy Coyle on their platform? It's all about AJ and his career is on a knife-edge now.

As I mentioned above, GGG getting paid an eight-figure sum to box a far overmatched opponent is not good for the sport and provides no incentive for these guys to box tough names. Hearn wanted Golovkin to box Andrade in his first fight with DAZN which I agreed with but no, continue to peddle your pathetic "he hates Hearn" rhetoric.

DAZN and Hearn have caused near irreparable damage to British boxing which was thriving prior to Matchroom's deal with DAZN. Adam Smith has said this himself in albeit softer language.

Wait, so before Hearn signed with DAZN the British market was thriving, right? Was it because of Hearn? Because why else would the DAZN deal have caused near irreparable damage?

Maybe thats why DAZN liked Hearn? Because he has done exceptionally well over in the U.S. market. And not just because he Joshua.

I don't like that Golovkin was paid so much for Rolls. I didn´t like it with Canelo-Fielding. Nor did I like the fact that Tevin Farmer and Jessie Vargas were paid small/tiny fortunes.
But this is a business and they are looking to get fighters. (They being Hearn with Vargas and Farmer and DAZN with Golovkin)
But Alvarez did step up in his next fight, so fingers crossed.

 

Money is a quasi-utility token backed by the governing Elites Swag -military force nothing less-, since peasants are conveniently fully monetized, the Elites can take all value out of the monetized peasants whenever the Elites want
