Is Deontay Wilder at the level of Price/Fury?

never heard anyone claiming he's soooo good. can people not get exciting about an aggressive huge punching heavy? you're full of **** like always. being on the level of Price and Fury is totally legit though, they're all untested prospects with glass jaws. Price and Deontay have athleticism and power though, Fury is sloppy with neither.

Price and Fury at least fight as main event attractions and Fury and Price have fought guys that have been former olympic gold medal winners or have fought for a world title and they have less than 16 fights. while an actual medal winner like Wilder is hidden away never to be seen because the bottom line is he pretty much ****ing sucks. and big surprise his next rumor fight is against a 13-0 , 37 year old **** opponent yet again. so you are the one full of **** as well as delusional.

And I never claimed Deontay's so good, I spend a lot of time defending him against morons like you though who are dumb enough to write off a huge athletic dude with a massive punch. If you can't see that he has potential you're a moron, and if you think Fury is better you're an even bigger moron and I'll be here to **** on your face when Fury gets brutally KO'd and Wilder surpasses him in the rankings. I've never claimed Wilders the next champ but he's got a huge upside and I like seeing big KO's I dunno about your ***** ass.

I don't know if anyone else liked this comment but I just woke my girl up laughing.

 

I am in the middle here, as I like all three.

I have been frustrated with Wilder's absurdly slow progress, but indeed he has stepped it up just a little with Beck and Manswell, who have positive records and experience at least. Despite what some are saying, K. Price will be a good guage. K. Price narrowly edged out Tor Hammer (who also got himself back in the game with the prizefighter win).

K. Price may not have big power, but its a well thought out test. They are worried about Wilder's chin because of amatuer stoppage and the Scoiners fight, so lets see what he can take. If he stands up to K. Price, they can move him on to someone a little more dangerous.

As for Fury, those of us who like the guy (and there are plenty who don't) aren't worried about his chin because

A) He has stood up to better punchers such as McDermott and Chisora, and

B) At 23 years of age, he is going to put on a LOT of weight on that 6'9" frame, which will help both his punch resistance and power.

He just gat caught agaisnt Pajkick is all.

He'll never have the natural power or Price or Wilder, but he has some power, is big, throws a lot of punches, has good stamina when is shape, and seems to genuinely like fighting. He tries to learn and vary his game, even if he's got a long way to go. Fury is going to be around a long time, and with his size, will not reach his natural physical prime until he is 30ish (seven years!). Realistically, he is going to be a top contender, if not an ABC belt holder.

Price has everything except maybe a good beard. Too bad Manny Steward ain't with us anymore, he could do wonders.

He was wobbled by Firtha though, not a guy known for his power. But then again, any heavyweight can punch.

I wish I could fast-forward time to two years from now to where all these prospects are at, at that point in time.
Most of them show promise, but a hint of vulnerability as well.

 

Of course not! If Wilder wants respect, he needs to stop hiding out in America facing weak opposition, and come prove himself on the tough European HW scene. No relevant HW's fight in the US Anymore
