Hello everyone. There's been alot of talk about Floyd as always and his claim to be the best ever. In my personal opinion I don't belive that he can be called the best ever since he hasn't fought the high risk high rewards fights (Pacquiao mainly)

However I do belive he's absolutley one of the best fighters to ever lace them up, maybe in the top 15-20. But that all depends on how the rest of his career goes.

    What do you all think?

No one that fights twice a year can ever be considered the greatest, that goes for most fighters of this generation. Floyd has the most skill to me of this generation, but, he's not the best ever, not even close. I'd take Hopkins over him in this era and I hate Hopkins and think his style is awful.

The best but not greatest. He's 37 still going strong. #1 P4P still fighting champions at an elite level. Most ATG's were done by 37. Even if they were fighting, they werent still dominating. He's a great athlete. THat took care of his body his entire career. No drinking, No drugs, andCan throw any punch, and is maybe the greatest defensive fighter ever, or at least top 2. He's been fighting in a generation where guys cut weight to make weight, and has stayed in shape and disciplined the whole time. He's had a weight advantage once in his career. Maybe twice. He fights guys coming off big wins, which is a big deal. He's been so good throughout his career that him winning a fight 7-5/8-4 is considered a bad performance. He has an optimized amateur style that is designed to win rounds. He's probably the best ever, just like Lebron is probably the best ever. As in the most talented, and can do the most. Floyd is more talented than SRL, or SRR. Not greater, but he can do more things than them. But greatness has a lot to do with being loved, being adored. So he'll never get the credit he probably deserves. but a lot of other boxers give him the credit. B-Hop has said he's top 5, Tyson has said he's top 5. But his big mouth makes people slow to give him credit. On a P4P Talent Scale, he's probably top 3. On a P4P greatness scale, he's probably top 30 to most people. People are living in the past, and give legends far too much credit, and currents far too little.

He is not the best, most talented, or greatest ever and not really close. For starters, the best ever would be the complete package, which includes powers - something Floyd doesn't have. He's not a combination puncher. His best win is Corrales.

I think he does what it takes to win. Like I said, he's not lacking in any area. Floyd has power, just not explosive power. The same way Pac has a good defense, just not an ATG defense. Floyd is either good or great in most areas. Theres no area where he's bad. His resume speaks for itself. People can try to belittle his wins, but the fact is that, pretty much everyone he beat was coming off a career performance, and people DUCKED him so bad early in his career. it prevented him from having a better resume.

He went through what Thurman is going through now. Really good, but high risk low reward for big money fighters.

I don't even think that can be a debate. He's clearly the best/greatest of his era. That's pretty much widely recognized.

Fonzie thanks for proving what an idiot you are. He's still going strong because he rarely fights. He's fought 15 times in ten years, any fighter could extend their career fighting that little. Lets see how good his body would have held up if he fought more than 1.5times a year, ****ing clown.

Once again, more BS to support a hater's weak argument.

Consider he wears pillow gloves, 57% KO ratio proves he has power. *******s and Madonnaettes all swear puncher gloves are a huge advantage. Pac 60%, Ali 61%, SRL 63%, SRR 54%. If Floyd wore Clito Reyes or Everlast MX, he would be in the 70%.
