    No. He's far and away the face of boxing, but Derek Jeter is the face of the Yankees, Gatorade, Gillette, Visa, etc.....

    mayweather's much more popular than any other boxer in the u.s but he still doesnt hold a candle to any of the other athletes mentioned, and that's just the truth.

    Lebron James and Kobe Bryant most definitely. Tiger Woods possibly cause Boxing is not as much seen in America even tho America is the Mecca of Boxing.

    oh, and the clippers have finally risen out of the culture of losing that plagued them for decades, but the spurs will beat them. the spurs are perfect, the pete sampras of basketball.

    Honestly its the mainstream sports that has it right now.

    Kobe and Tiger.

    Well, they can watch basketball and golf on free tv. They have to pay 40-50 bucks just to see a boxer in 24 minutes of action.

    Of course boxing can't compare.

    Just look at his endorsement deals (or lack thereof). That's usually a good indicator of popularity.....marketability.
