Is Floyd the most boring ATG in recent memory

I'm sure his fights are boring to people who don't like boxing.

Floyd is NOT an ATG & never will be ATG's take on all comers any time anywhere. Sure Floyd has the incredible God Given boxing skills of an ATG but he lacks the balls & heart of an ATG. Can you honestly say his match with Guerrero was the performance of an ATG giving his all???? To me it looked more like the fix was in. Neither boxer seriously tried to hurt the other ,In fact all Mayweather did was run & hold like normal. To me Mayweather will always be a loudmouth wannabe that basically wasted his talentsatsch

 

Boring is subjective and doesn't mean anything, skills aren't:deal

 

Benitez and then probably Hop in play it safe mode, but Hopkins and Floyd are sharp so it is easy to enjoy the fights. Benitez did not have a crisp punch so he was almost always boring unless he was getting knocked around, which made me feel bad for him at the end of his career, because he SHOULDN'T have been - he aged quickly. Honestly except for a few fights I always found Sal Sanchez boring, move gloves, move head, back up, throw a few shots - the Gomez fight was a notable exception from his normal non-explosive but extremely effective style. I prefer watching Hopkins and Floyd to Sanchez and Benitez. there were a few Oscar and Jones fights that were painful to watch late in their careers, but overall they were super exciting.

 

Log off you crazy irrational ****. PBF not an ATG but let me guess Margo that disgraced POS is? If you can't agree that PBF is an ATG then you have no credibility and should be banned for the sake of this forum. I'm not a Pac fan but I can agree that he's an ATG. That's the difference between an irrational crazy **** like you and me.

 

Wladimir and Mayweather But at least wlad does knock them out.

 

PBF hurt his hand in the fight dummy. He was landing his right hand at will turning it up on Guerrero before he hurt it. If he hadn't hurt it he possibly would have stopped Guerrero.

 

Floyd is hall of fame worthy , not yet ATG worthy .

 

To beat Floyd you need to put him in there with a boxing style like Hopkins, Whittaker or Rigo.

No one in his surrounding weight divisions can out box him which is why he makes such easy work of opponents it gets boring for those who just want to see him lose. After the 2nd round of the Guerrero fight the contest was over.

 

I don't find Floyd's style boring.

 

What would he have to do to be an ATG in your books?

Also, out of interest - what is your top 30 ATG list?

 

Let me guess? Cotto is right? Not ATG worthy name 50 boxers in the history of the sport that are better than PBF? You can't name them because they don't exists. If PBF is the best fighter of this era then he has to be an ATG if not then no fighter from this era is an ATG either.:deal
