He has tremendous self belief which is probably why he's fought the best and why he's been able to come from behind in fights against the likes of Groves and Taylor.

Anyone who has achieved what he had must have some ego but the biggest not by a long shot. He's admitted he would likely lose to Ward and really only has a punchers chance, that really isn't the sign of a delusional over inflated ego. Big ego yes, biggest, no not even close.

I asked Carl where his humility ranked in the grand scheme if things and he told me without doubt that he was the most humble man whoever lived.

Of course Froch has a huge ego. But then, he's backed it up and can get away with having one, same for Mayweather who arguably has THE biggest ego in Boxing.

All of you are wrong on all accounts. The man who sold out Wembley Stadium was Howard Foster :D

Got a gift vs Dirrel, Lost to a shot Kessler, absolutely humiliated vs Ward, saved by Howard Forster from another loss, ducked Degale and Ward by vacating his titles. His wins include a midget in Abraham who did nothing at 168, grandad Glenn Johnson, the most over hyped fighter of the century Bute who already got KO'd by Andrade, weight drained Pascal, a green george groves, mack lmao, a semi-retired coming of a 13 month layoff kessler and was on the track to a loss to a past it Jermain Taylor.

His biggest achievement is fighting in front of 80,000 people that was created by the controversy and the initiation of George Groves by putting pressure on the IBF/WBA. Remember that Carl was denying the rematch but was forced into it.

Groves was the one who was saved (from a further beating), seeing as Froch was turning the fight around at the time of the controversial stoppage, with Groves fading and Froch was leading by 1 point on two of the judges scorecard. The rematch gave Groves another good payday.

Froch was going to take the rematch anyway :D

Just saw him on History Channel on a documentary about Paleolithic age. He said

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. I knocked out Wembley at George Groves in front of people almost 80,000 years ago."
