Dumbest comment in 20 years on esb. This is an element that builds the sport and brings in casuals. This is a money sport…and you have to bang people’s eyeballs to keep them talking, entertained, and coming back. The majority of people, especially casuals, love this stuff.

I guarantee you've never attended a boxing event. When ring walk's done proper, excited fans go absolutely bonkers and it shines thru the screen too, but it's mostly for the ticket buyers who are entertained. And boy they were when say Vitali came back after 4 yrs out and these hologram greats introduced him as well as Buffer, and AC/DC kicked in and Klitscho walked in, ppl. lost their sht. Ring walks are part of this sport hence they are part of the PPV package you're buying... unless ur on some shtye illegal stream that is...
Mike Tyson in his prime seemed to keep casuals happy without the need for preening parading dancers and costumery. In fact i would imagine most were not entertained by that weirdness, not even thinking it was WWE just WHY and WTF. Never forget elaborate ring walk costumes can cause a champion to lose the world heavyweight title.

I didn't get any gay vibes from his entrance. I was offended though for the historical inaccuracies... Mixing Roman warrior outfits, then screaming this is sparta, then those gypsy egyptian guy doing that dance... he just mixed everything up
