He is in no man's land where the man can fight great but is not a great fighter. Where the shoulder meets the neck and the neck supports the chin and the chin rests upon the collarbone.

Then Floyd should have either shut his piehole about Golovkin or he should have said "Golovkin is too big, I ain't fighting no damn giant" like Mayweather senior said about the match. Instead Floyd ran his mouth about how Golovkin was "easy work" for him  Floyd would not have had to jump through any hoops for GGG. Gennadiy said that he'd drop weight to 154 for Floyd.
Meanwhile Ward was the guy that said he would not fight Golovkin at 168. You want to see the clip again? Ward could have had the fight with GGG years before but it was muh shoulder, muh promoter.

Ha ha, GGG beat them both in his mid 30's and beat all the best middleweights of his generation.
Hopkins got schooled by Jones and knocked out by the likes of Mercado, ha ha. His whole reputation is beating little Oscar and Tito who GGG absolutely smashes to bits!
You don't know **** about boxing you only ever defend black fighters even if they're not that good.

I would say no, but it's pretty unfair really, because if he had beaten Canelo once he probably qualifies, and it does feel wrong that he never got either decision, holistically.

    Ha ha why's that?
GGG us not a loudmouth like Hopkins, just the most avoided fighter of the last 30 years.
He doesn't get knocked out by Mercado and would acquit him himself better against Jones and not lose ever round. Man was a wrecking machine in his 20's and still beating the best in his 30's.
He would knockout Hopkins, the most overrated middleweight ever.
You gonna explain yourself or just make silly comments without backing them up?

This. And its not only Golovkin. It's really surprising how many fighters would have been greater than they were and how many would be lesser because of the opinions of three blind mice. Louis should have dropped a decision to Walcott. Ali probably should have lost two decisions to Norton. And we've seen Foreman / Briggs brought up here as a fight that could easily have gone to Foreman with different judges.

Difference is they proved them self in other legacy fights. It sucks for ggg that his resume isn’t better. The ggg canelo fights although they were close, ggg just didn’t seem to have a killer instinct in either fight. He let himself down tactically, little body shots, never cut the ring off, seemed to display less power(too many arm punches), didn’t hurt canelo once, etc. He just didn’t look like he won, not by damage or by skill. His claim is points. I will say he deserved far more opportunities to test himself as an elite, whose fault I won’t say.

hey man I dont hate GGG. I really like his boxing style. But his resume should be better. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, and blame his management on not getting him better opponents. Ill even give him an edge for H2H based on benefit of the doubt and his close fights vs canelo. I'm not a hater, its not either or for me.

    His tactics were perfect.
Winning by using the jab is letting himself down tactically?
Canelo couldn't put a dent in a 35 year old guy with 400 fights.
GGG controlled Canelo in both fights, particularly the first. He won by a landslide in rounds, that is how you win boxing matches if you're too old and slow to necessarily knock someone out.

You don't know boxing with this opinion, sorry.
Hagler and Monzon retired before they even got to mid 30's. Both shot.
You expect a 35 year old guy, shopworn, slow as molasses avoided guy to go out and destroy a prime 28 year old iron chin, juiced to the gills, judges and ref in his pocket, dude like Canelo?
It's bull**** that people can't give GGG credit.
