    Yep, regular titles don't count.

I am not saying that Golovkin is the best MW ever, and I am not sure if he has enough time to become one, BUT ...

If a champion dropped the belt in order to avoid facing Golovkin, then Golovkin getting that belt is as legit as beating that champion.

Hagler runs him close but GGG with his 385 fights is too much for Marvelous

Youre not knocking Hagler out. GGG breaks his ribs. Marvelous bites down and valiantly tries to fight on but power punch after power punch are now getting through and has Marvelous in all sorts of hell. Fight is waved off - way too late. Hagler leaves the ring on a stretcher

Who has he fought as a professional that makes you think he should be spoken about with Ray Robinson or Harry Greb?

Do you have any clue who those fighters were and who exactly they fought?

I actually like Golovkin as a fighter, but his fans are some really deluded and uneducated people. The MW division is one of the deepest divisions in the history of boxing. YOu are out of your mind if you think his name should be mentioned in the same breath as RObinson or Greb.

THOSE guys fought in multiple weight classes and campaigned in hundreds of fights. Greb lost his dam vision in one eye halfway through his career and continued fighting on. DO you have any idea who Harry Greb is? He beat the great Gene Tunney, arguably one of the greatest Light Heavy Weight champions in the history of the sport. He gave Tunney his only loss ever as a pro.

YOu're obviously just trolling or you have absolutely zero idea on how rich and deep the division goes historically. My mistake for trying to have a civilized debate since barely any Golovkin fan can speak of him from a pragmatic disposition.

This forum has really gone to hell.

Hagler leaves on a stretcher? I don't see any of Golovkin's opponents leave on a stretcher, yet Marvin Hagler would leave on a stretcher? DO you have any idea about his chin or his inside fighting?

Well congratulations, you're a genius as well. Welcome to ESB and introduce yourself to the other Golovkin fans that are very objective in their assessment of him.

    WTH happened to this forum?

Geale isn't in his top 5. GGG is like Roy Jones ..He just makes them LOOK like nobodies.

Lol no he wouldn't. If GGG tried getting froggy with Trinidad and slug it out, kids getting KO'd in the 1st round.

A bum green featherfisted prospect was landing leather on Bummyluvkin. Imagine what Trinidad from the Joppy fight would do, LMFAO.

Hagler would open up more then his previous opponents which is why he would receive more damage

GGG would laugh at Trinidad's punches just like he did Monroes, then rock him to sleep

For a portion of his title reign he was the regular champion while Geale was the proper champion.

He hasn't faced another all time time great though so he can't be viewed as the greatest.
