Im not a bog fan of immediate rematches. Especially when its a first loss.

Take a fight beforehand to get your head straight, get back to winning and work on a few mistakes you might have made.

The only problem is that the money in the rematch would be huge and they wouldnt want to risk losing a tune up. It does happen.

But i would really think about taking on someone half decent just to get back into the ring before a rematch.

Just being around the build up and press and ring entrances, the whole lot would put groves head in a great place fir a rematch.

Exactly. About time someone actually did something about the system.

I cannot even count how many atrocious decisions I have seen in my years following and competing in the sport.

Damn Right, this is Bert Gilroy vs. Jock McAvoy and Freddie Mills all over again. Groves being Gilroy and Froch is McAvoy & Mills.

I can see Groves beating him in the return, and if there was any legitimacy and honesty in boxing this fight would be made because it is the right thing to do and everybody wants it too. Loads of money for this one.

I'll still cheer Froch, but I think Carl is a bit worried here!

He should of taken the first offer, looks like it back fired on him really. If he did his homework he would of relised that he wasnt going to get a better cut!

Seeing reports on twitter that purse bids have been withdrawn and an agreement has been reached. Hope it's true! What a blockbuster this will be.
