    @irishny

    Actually I did watch the build up to the Hatton fight, but I don't remember Hatton talking as reckless as Guerrero is.

    I think Guerrero is taking Mayweather's last performance (Cotto) and his last opponent (Berto), and believes he can do what Cotto did against Mayweather, as well as what he did against Berto. I hope he has a B plan, because he's not Cotto, and Mayweather ain't Berto.

    Christian, muslim, atheist, beleiver, non-beleiver... To all of those mentioned I'd think they'd say that is a very dumb comment.
    God is putting him in prison? Really? I'm pretty sure it was Robert who carries a gun around, didn't know the laws, and got caught with it at the airport. God wasn't holding it for him. Also, it will be a jury of human beings or a judge (dunno how his trial will work) that reaches a verdict. Then, if he goes to prison it'll be the popo that escorts him in there in chains. Might be an act of God if he doesn't manage to go to prison when the laws are pretty severe.

    I understand people blaming God for natural disasters, but come on now... I guess blame him for getting obese while your at it (while you slug down McDonalds cheeseburgers daily), lung cancer while you smoke 2 packs a day and you know the warnings, low testosterone when your coming off your roids, etc... Don't want to turn this in to a beleif war, but it's obvious these are examples of people making THERE OWN choices. Just like Robert did.

    He did mention the big ring and how Floyd is going to 'run', but hasn't he watched him in the last few years? He stands in front of guys a lot more. I'm sure Guerrero knows that. They're just sound bites.

    Not at all. You can't underestimate someone like mayweather. Maybe not be able to figure him out, but underestimate, no.

    I'm not so sure about that. I believe Guerrero is expecting to see a declining Mayweather, based on some of the statements he's made in regards to Mayweather slowing down. I really think he's expecting to see a Mayweather that was a little roughed up by Cotto, and expects he can do the same thing. But what he's forgetting is that, that fight was at 154, and although Mayweather has slowed, he's still much quicker than Guerrero in every aspect, and I think Mayweather will obviously be more comfortable at 147.

    I thought that last night... And it's weird how they seem to think guerrero's quicker than Floyd? I doubt very highly he's stupid enough to underestimate Floyd but he does seem to think he would out fight Floyd... Daft, bless him.

    NO, he is not every fighter knows how good Floyd is, but you dont get on this level without being extremely confident!

    He's showing belief - doesn't mean he's underestimating him. There is a difference...it's refreshing to see, Cotto didn't show much belief, Ortiz clearly went in to lose and get paid...

    Good on Guerrero, hopefully he's in good shape and makes a decent account of himself

    EXACTLY!

    Also, what are his team going to be saying?? Oyur boy isnt good enough? Floyds too fast and skilled.

    Half the job of his team is to get him in the right mental state. Namely make him absolutely confident that he WILL win.
