I can see where you are coming from.

I'd rather put together a P4P list at the end of each boxing season. That way I can weigh everything up and put into perspective recent results better against other factors for the fighters in top 10 contention.

I I just do not get how people evaluate things. Hopkins gets owned against Taylor the moves up and fights Tarver who most people are now calling an ok fighter that just happened to have RRJ number and suddenly Hopkins is a pound for pound top four guy. I think the lists are more about who is the most famous and had the best last fight. Not so long ago Htton was on them all then he turns out to be a fraud.

Is Nate Cambell now suddenly a top 10 fighter?

Do not get my wrong I love talking complete **** and thinking it makes sense. I even make them myself but I just think they are stupid.

Best performance of his career, for David. Goes up to p4p Top 15 for me - same kind of area as Pavlik and Dawson.

Dawson has not beaten anyone on the level of Mormeck or Taylor.

He has proven elite skills. Only doubt is his chin. Johnson fight will prove his worth. Diaconu fight will prove his chin.

I have him on the cusp of the top 10 now, moving up from the high teens

Yeh I have only seen a little bit of him, should be great fight with Johnson on the Taver vs Woods undercard. He could be another Over hyped american that gets exposed Like Lacy did, or loose and have his stock fall greatly like Diaz and Williams have recently.

Dawson is no Lacy. Lacy had one punch and that's it. Dawson looks like the real deal but there are still question over his chin and possibly, his mental strength. If those questions are dispelled, Dawson makes p4p Top 8 for me. To do the same, Haye would have to beat Wlad. Just my two cents.:good

I would agree hays has to be Top 10

I think too many fighters get highly rated just becasue the American media say so though. Diaz , Williams , Hopkins (IMO) all benefit from biased american coverage which eventauly sticks and they are all of a sudden terrors of the ring.

P4P is what have you done for me lately.

Diaz lost so drops but thats all.

Haye was already top 20, the win just puts him in the top 10 comfortably.

Lacy was putting out p4p some of the best performances in the world for a good 12 months before the Calzaghe fight. You need to rewatch his fights mate.... He was no one trick pony.

I love where you have put Hopkins

Im an ardent Hopkins hater but I have an agenda in placing him in the top 5.

Simply Calzaghe deserves credit for when he whoops his old ass...something that should have happened in 2002 anyway.

Think your underrating Hatton a bit here as well...putting Campbell over Hatton on the basis of one close win against Diaz seems a little off...Hatton has afterall only lost to Mayweather.

Dawson should not be over the LHW champ anyway. He has despite looking great only ever beaten ****ing Adamek.

Its a myth created intially by Kesslerites in order to base their claims that Calzaghe was not the champion of the divison and merely the number 1 contender alongside Kessler.

Its now been taken on board by Americans who refuse to accept Calzaghes greatness.

    It is a myth.
