is hopkins the most boring champion in history?

    Hopkins wasn't consistently dull until about 2004.

    The Mercado and Echols fights, Johnson, Trinidad, James, Lipsey, for instance, I found enjoyable. I actually also enjoyed watching the in-fighting clinic he gave to Joppy as well, when he turned him into a Chipmunk.

    The most boring champs to come to mind are John Ruiz, Nikolai Valuev, and Jack Johnson. Yes, Johnson was a great fighter and historical figure. But Sweet Jesus, his bouts were atrocious to watch.
