He is a Japanese icon who fills the dome every fight. He is also an Asian superstar who is well known in the region. He makes good enough money fighting in Japan. There are no US fighters he could fight in the US. He is also proud of his heritage, and the Japanese love being Japanese.

American boxing fans live in their own bubble. If he is getting more money in Japan, why would he return to the states again? If he moves up to 126 and more money is made in Japan, why would his opponents stay in the U.S to fight him? Money talks b**** walks especially in boxing. Doesn't make sense at all.
