is it just me or does anyone else hate max kellerman?

Kellerman worked his way up?? WHat a joke. He got handed a job on ESPN because of his daddy's connections. His "qualifications?" The smarmy punk had done some rinky dink cable access show.

Kellerman is the OPPOSITE of someone who "worked their way up." And it shows.:yep

 

Yes, Max had connections, everyone knew that years ago. I told Max that he was a very nice closed minded person, live on the air years ago! LOL! Actually, I like him, he is very nice person. He used to be a huge Klitschko hater, but changed.

 

I like Lampley and Kellerman...

However, lately both of them have sounded a little more smug... I also find both of them to be a little smarmy at times. Maybe they are influencing each other negatively?

Also, I noticed that Kellerman will make an observation and then will proceed to repeat that observation for the rest of the fight; he is a lot like Atlus that way.

 

Max is decent, but like all other HBO commentators has to feed the hype train to cash his paycheck occasionally. He definitely will ask the tough questions, remember when he called out Mayweather for cherrypicking?

 

I'm kind of indifferent about him.

He doesn't say anything to really make me like or dislike him.

Oh, except during Calzaghe-Bika. I iiked what he said there, when Bika did something dirty and Lennox Lewis said "I wouldn't have done that". Max says "Michael Grant would disagree that you wouldn't do something like that". After a long pause, Lennox says "no comment".

 

don't hate him but i miss merchant, and he's better than jim grey because at least he does love boxing. jim grey couldn't give a rat's ass about boxing. maybe now he does since he lost the golf channel or whatever. i wish toney would punch grey in the face.

 

Kellerman has gotten far worse lately. I like that he does call out the bull**** on occasion like the ABC's and such but he's become such a blowhard since coming to HBO and is trying to steal Merchant's pre and post fight analysis schtick by lacing it with ******ed wordplay and far fetched comparisons and analogies that make no sense and aren't witty/clever at all. He was way better as a blue collar guy on ESPN that just spoke it like it is....now he's trying to be the next classy reporter and he's trying to be someone he's not and playing the role in his HBO tux and it ain't working for him and his loud NY accent.

 

Lampley is a very cheap *****.

 

Use to hate Kellerman, now I can tolerate him.

Liked the way he kept throwing digs @ RJJ about him being a safety first fighter!

I don't hate Kellerman but he honestly doesn't know anything about boxing. He is the type of guy in the barber shop talking about boxing and no one takes what he says seriously. How is he even qualified to do to that job?
